A contemporary jazz quartet founded by Tilen Gavranovič and performing original music across Europe.
Tilen Gavranovič founded the Gavro Quartet in November 2023 under his artist name. The band gave its debut performance that same month, presenting music that was later recorded for their first album. Alongside Gavranovič, the quartet features Lenart De Bock on saxophone, Miloš Čolović on double bass, and Andreas Reisenhofer on drums.
In January 2024, the group entered the studio to record their debut album, Let’s Wait and See, featuring special guests Jim Rotondi on trumpet and Marko Črnčec on piano. The album was released in October of the same year.
In November 2025, the quartet began collaborating with the acclaimed trumpeter Alex Sipiagin, with whom they have since shared the stage on several occasions.
The band has also worked with renowned musicians such as Jure Pukl, Gerhard Ornig, Lenart Krečič, Žan Cesar, and others. To date, the Gavro Quartet has performed more than 50 concerts across Europe, including Austria, Germany, France, Slovenia, Croatia, and other countries.
